The Robocon Kit
We hope that the Robocon kit was a valuable resource for your team! We ask that all kits are returned to us over the summer. This allows us to refurbish, update, and improve the equipment to keep the competition free for future students.Packing and Shipping
Shipping can be rough on hardware. To ensure the kit arrives safely, please adhere to the following standards:Preparation
- Use the Original Box: The kit must be returned inside the provided 12L Really Useful Box (RUB).
- Internal Padding: Fill all empty space inside the RUB with packing material (cardboard, bubble wrap, etc.) so components cannot shift during transit.
- External Protection: The RUB itself should be wrapped in a protective layer of cardboard.
Logistics
- Costs: Robocon Oxfordshire does not fund the return shipment of kits.
- In-Person Returns: If you plan to drop off the kit in person, please email support@roboconoxon.org.uk to coordinate a time to meet at reception.
